Terms of Service

Short, because the service is narrow. Using apumail — through the API, MCP, the dashboard or the app — means you accept these. Last updated July 22, 2026.

What the service is

apumail provisions email addresses and phone numbers that programs can read and send from, over a REST API, MCP and mobile clients. It is a tool for developers and for the agents they run.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your tokens. Treat an inbox token or account API token as a password: anyone holding one can read that inbox and send as it. If a token leaks, revoke it — inbox tokens rotate from the dashboard, account tokens from Settings. You must be old enough to form a contract where you live.

What you may not do

Accounts that break these rules get their send disabled or their inboxes removed, generally without notice, because the alternative is losing deliverability for everyone else.

Fair use and limits

Free inboxes are rate-limited on provisioning, on inbound mail per sending IP, and on outbound send. Paid inboxes get higher limits, not unlimited ones. We may adjust limits to keep the service healthy, and we will not do it silently for paid customers.

Paid plans

Paid handles, domain inboxes and phone numbers are billed annually and in advance, on-chain in USDC or $PROWL. Because settlement is on a public blockchain, payments are final: we cannot reverse a transaction. If something goes wrong on our side — you paid and the provisioning failed — write to support@apumail.com with the transaction signature and we will make it right. There is no automatic proration or refund for an inbox you stop using; when the paid year lapses the inbox is suspended, and after the grace period it is released and can be claimed by someone else.

What we don't promise

The service is provided as-is. We run a backup mail exchanger and take daily backups, but we do not promise a particular uptime, and we do not promise that any given message will arrive — mail delivery depends on the receiving server, which is not ours. Do not build something where a lost verification code is a catastrophe without a fallback. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Ending it

You can delete any inbox, number or account at any time, from the API or the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or discontinue the service — in which case we will give paid customers notice and a way to get their data out.

The rest

These terms are governed by the laws of Chile. If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the others stand. We may update these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and continuing to use the service means accepting the new version.
